biografische gegevens van eton crop Eton Crop is een Nederlandse band die in 1979 begon als punkpopgroep. Men keek toen nogal kritisch naar de maatschappij en de teksten getuigden daar ook van. Rond 1990 stapte de band echter over naar de dansmuziek. De groep bestond aanvankelijk uit: ERWIN BLOM: vocals, guitar RON BAARS: guitar PETER VERSCHUEREN: keyboards CORNE BOS: bass ED TUYL: drums Met Erwin Blom en Corné Bos als vaste kern vinden er in de loop der jaren enige veranderingen in de bezetting plaats. Zo verschijnen gitarist Peter de Q en toetsenisten Peter Verschueren en Spike Daalder. Anno 1992, aan het eind van haar bestaan, bestaat de groep nog uit: ERWIN BLOM: zang, gitaar SPIKE DAALDER: toetsen CORNE BOS: bas Erwin Blom werkt ook nog bij de VPRO-radio. In 1999 blijken de drie heren opnieuw een band gevormd te hebben. In dat jaar debuteren ze als E.C.
