biografische gegevens van slagerij van kampen Slagerij van Kampen is een Nederlandse percussie-groep. Rond 1982 begint de groep te oefenen met een aantal bassdrums. In 1986 volgt het debuutalbum van de band. De installatie groeit uit tot een high-tech multimedia spektakel. De groep bestaat uit Willem van Kruysdijk en Mies Wilbrink. Tijdens optredens wordt de groep dan aangevuld met Renee Frankhuizen (die in 1983 Marjan Meijer had vervangen) en Dree van Beek. De groep werkt veel samen met de New Yorkse producer/technicus Robert Musso. In 2000 krijgt Slagerij van Kampen een Edison in de categorie beste Nederlandse instrumentale groep. Naast Willem van Kruysdijk en Mies Wilbrink bestaat de groep dan uit Boudine van Slobbe en Coen Rijnbeek. In 2001 blijkt dat Mies Wilbrink een dusdanige slijtage aan haar schouder heeft opgelopen dat doorspelen niet verantwoord is. Ook Willem wil er nu mee ophouden, maar men wil de band wel voort laten bstaan. Er wordt gezocht naar nieuwe musici. Bente Olie wordt al snel de vervanger van Mies Wilbrink.
