biografische gegevens van blue band Blue Band is een rockgroep uit Arnhem die eindjaren zeventig wordt opgericht. In 1979 verschijnt het enige album van de groep: "Slithering". Blue Band bestaat uit: HENK VOS: zang, toetsen HERMAN WILBRINK: gitaar FRANS JONGMANS: gitaar JAN DAMEN: bas FRED VELTMAN: drums Hoewel het album "Slithering" niet buitengewoon veel doet in Nederland, probeert de groep toch ook door te breken in de Verenigde Staten. Dat mislukt en in 1980 verlaat Herman Wilbrink de band.
