biografische gegevens van kate bush KATE BUSH is een Engelse zangeres. Ze komt uit een muzikale familie en speelt sinds haar jeugd al piano. Via Pink Floyd-gitarist David Gilmour komt ze in contact met EMI. Als Kate 19 jaar oud is, is het met haar eerste single "Wuthering Heights" meteen prijs. De single is het begin van een zeer succesvolle carriere. Opvallend daarbij is de hoge stem van Kate, haar pantomime-dans en de sfeer van een droom waaraan de muziek herinnert. In haar latere muziek bouwt ze haar muzikale talenten uit. Ze gaat gebruik maken van synthesizers, maar laat zich niet inpakken door de commercie.
