biografische gegevens van ford's imaginary inferno FORD'S IMAGINARY INFERNO is een nederlands project rond Hans Ford, de ex-zanger van Waste, Scream Therapy en Betty Ford Clinic. In 1996 verschijnt het debuutalbum "Hot balloon drifts". Er is dan nog sprake van een éénmansband: het album werd zeer eenvoudig op Hans' Amsterdamse woonboot opgenomen. In de loop der jaren ontstaat echter een echte groep. Er moet tenslotte opgetreden worden. Men manifesteert zich voornamelijk als lo-fi-band. Alles wat de aandacht van het liedje afleidt wordt weggelaten. Hans F. Ford blijft steeds de baas.
