biografische gegevens van laura fygi Laura Fygi is een Nederlandse zangeres die in de tweede helft van de jaren tachtig deel uitmaakt van de meidengroep Centerfold. Deze groep bestaat aanvankelijk uit Laura, Cecilia de Bruin en Rowan Moore. In 1989 is Laura zangeres bij The Backlot. Ze werkt hier samen met Rowan Moore die ze nog van Centerfold kende. In 1991 begint Laura aan een solocarriere in de jazzy popmuziek. Dat gaat haar bijzonder goed af. In 1997 komt ze met een album met songs van de Michel Legrand.
