biografische gegevens van nancy works on payday NANCY WORKS ON PAYDAY is een 6-mans sterke Nederlandse band. De zanger heet ALEX SIEGERS. Hij is een Indische jongen die opgroeide in een gezin met 9 kinderen in Roosendaal. Hij leert er de soulmuziek kennen. Alex speelde enige tijd met de Bredase new-wave-groep DUPLEX JOHNSON. Hij wil zich echter tot zanger ontwikkelen en richt NANCY WORKS ON PAYDAY op. (Een van Alex' zussen heet Nancy). De muziek van de groep bestaat uit normale pop- en rocknummers, met invloeden van blues, soul, jazz en funk.
