biografische gegevens van eddy de roever EDDY DE ROEVER is een Nederlandse pianist, die in de jaren 60 zijn grootste successen kende. Door zijn voorliefde voor de Engelse medley-pianist CHARLIE KUNZ, mocht Eddy zich in deze jaren wel de Nederlandse Charlie Kunz noemen. EDDY DE ROEVER werd geboren in Amsterdam. Hij was er platenverkoper. Later verhuisde hij naar Rotterdam, waar hij tot zijn dood zou blijven wonen. EDDY DE ROEVER schreef ook een aantal boekjes over de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Tijdens onderzoek voor een nieuw boekje stierf hij in 1995 in Londen. Zijn volledige 78-toeren collectie van Charlie Kunz liet hij na aan de Rotterdamse platenbibliotheek.
