biografische gegevens van sinister Sinister is een Rotterdamse deathmetal-groep die in 1992 debuteert met "Cross the Styx": harde metal die recht op zijn doel afgaat. Voornaamste musici binnen de band zijn: MIKE VAN MASTRIGT: zang BART VAN WALLENBERG: gitaar ANDRE TOLHUIZEN: gitaar Het gaat de groep in de jaren die op het debuut volgen voor de wind. Hoogtepunt is waarschijnlijk wel de Amerikaanse tournee, waarbij in twee maanden tijd 56 shows werden afgewerkt. Vanaf 1998 treedt Joost Silvrants op als zanger. In 2001 blijkt hij alweer vervangen door ex-occult zangeres Rachel Heyzer. Rachel blijft twee jaar. In 2004 werd de groep opgeheven, om een jaar later opnieuw te worden opgericht door ex-drummer << Wat de bezetting betreft had de groep een vrij groot verloop.
