biografische gegevens van zuco 103 ZUCO 103 is een dancegroep uit Amsterdam. De groep debuteert in 1999 en bestaat uit drie personen, ieder met een andere nationaliteit: LILIAN VIEIRA, een Braziliaanse zangeres STEFAN SCHMID, een Duitse toetsenist STEFAN KRUGER, een Nederlandse drummer .. ex-SFEQ De groep kent een voorgeschiedenis in SFEQ, waar Stefan Kruger had gedrumd en waar Lilian Vieira als gastzangeres had opgetreden. Als driemanschap weet men de Braziliaanse bossa nova en samba te combineren met westerse jazz en funk. In 1999 verschijnt het debuutalbum "Outro Lado" waarop de musici laten horen dat ze prima in staat zijn om moderne dance (house, drum 'n' bass) te combineren die Braziliaanse elementen. Het album is een succes en in 2000 weet Zuca 103 de Heineken Cross Over Award te winnen.
