biografische gegevens van dion Dion (Dion DiMucci) komt uit de Bronx, New York en samen met The Belmonts richt hij een van de eerste Italiaanse doo-wop-groepen op. Dwz: een groep die op straathoeken speelt. In 1960 gaat Dion solo, maar zal nog enige reunies met de Belmonts kennen. Solo horen we van Dion een stevige R&B-sound.
