biografische gegevens van 2 unlimited 2 UNLIMITED is een Nederland/Belgische techno- house-groep. De groep debuteert in 1992 met het album "Get Ready". Het gezicht van 2 UNLIMITED wordt bepaald door 2 Nederlanders: rapper RAY SLIJNGAARD en zangeres ANITA DOTH. Achter deze facade bevinden zich twee Belgen: de muziekschrijvers PHIL DE WILDE en JEAN-PAUL DE COSTER. In 1993 continueert de groep haar successen met "No limits" en erg succesvolle singles, niet alleen in Nederland, maar over de gehele wereld. In de loop der jaren is er echter weinig vernieuwing in het geluid van de groep te horen en in 1996 besluit men er een punt achter te zetten. Ray Slijngaard gaat als RAY solo en Anita Doth horen we nog op een single met Rene Froger. Groot is dan ook de verbazing als de Belgische producers De Wilde en De Coster in 1998 de groep nieuw leven inblazen met twee nieuwe Nederlandse zangeressen: ROMY en MARION.
