biografische gegevens van t-spoon T-SPOON is een Nederlandse house-act uit 1994. De groep komt tot stand door de samenwerking van: SHAMROCK .. echte naam: shalamon baskin .. een amerikaanse rapper .. ex hi tek 3 PRINCE PERATION Shamrock had in het Amerikaanse leger gediend, dat in Nederland gestationeerd was. In 1990 is hij al te horen op het album "The easiest way" van de groep Hi Tek 3. Shamrock en Prince Peration vinden in Serge Ramaekers en Dominic Sas het ideale produktieteam en in 1994 debuteert T-Spoon met de single "No time 2 waste", de eerste van een grote groep singles die in de hitparade zullen verschijnen. Voor de zang werd vaak een beroep gedaan op andere zangeressen, oa. de Amerikaanse soulzangeres Jean Shy. In 1995, na het verschijnen van het "Joy, Life & Pain", verscheen een nieuwe zangeres als vast lid van de groep: LINDA ESTELLE. Ze krijgt een belangrijke rol binnen de groep en dat is wel te horen ook op het album "Lexicon of Melody" uit 1997. In 1998 verlaat SHAMROCK de groep. Hij wordt vervangen door een andere Amerikaanse zanger en rapper: GREG DILLARD.
