biografische gegevens van bonnie raitt Bonnie Raitt is een Amerikaanse (blues)-zangeres. Ze wordt in 1950 geboren en haar ouders behoren tot de Quakers. Bonnie is reeds vroeg geinteresseerd in de blues. Nadat Bonnie Dick Waterman, een manager van een aantal grootheden in de blueswereld, komt in 1971 haar debuut-lp uit. Daarop is reeds haar vaste begeleider, de bassist Freebo, te horen. In de jaren '70 zingt Bonnie zich naar de top.
