biografische gegevens van p.p. arnold P.P. ARNOLD is een Amerikaanse popzangeres die in de jaren 1966 tot 1970 redelijk succesvol is in Engeland. P.P. Arnold komt in Engeland als zangeres van THE IKETTES. Ze blijft er als solozangeres. De single "The first cut is the deepest" doet het goed. P.P. Arnold wordt in deze tijd begeleid door THE NICE. Latere singles doen het minder, ondanks de hulp die ze krijgt van oa. Steve Marriott, PLONK LANE en Mick Jagger. P.P. Arnold is in de jaren 1969/1970 wel te zien in een aantal musicals: "Catch my soul" en in "Jesus Christ Superstar".
