biografische gegevens van hank the knife Hank the Knife is een pseudoniem van rock & roll-musicus Henk Bruysten. Bruysten speelt aanvankelijk bij Long Tall Ernie & the Shakers, maar richt in 1974 zijn eigen rock & roll-groep Hank the Knife & the Jets op. De groep kent enige erg succesvolle singles, maar valt in 1976 toch uit elkaar. Bruysten experimenteert wat onder de naam Silvertone, maar kiest in 1979 toch weer voor Hank the Knife: vanaf dat jaar is hij actief als Hank the Knife & the Crazy Cats.
