biografische gegevens van barrelhouse Barrelhouse is een Nederlandse bluesband die in 1974 debuteert. Aanvankelijk speelt men instrumentaal, maar al snel wordt zangeres Tineke Schoemaker aangetrokken. De groep bestond in het begin uit: TINEKE SCHOEMAKER: zang JOHNNY LAPORTE: gitaar .. (ex-oscar benton blues band) GUUS LAPORTE: gitaar HAN VAN DAM: piano JAN WILLEM SLIGTING: bas (ex-oscar benton blues band) BOB DROS: drums Midden jaren tachtig houdt de groep het voor gezien en zangeres Tineke Schoemaker begint aan een solocarriere. Die komt echter niet van de grond en in 1993 vindt de comeback van Barrelhouse plaats.
