biografische gegevens van asphyx Asphyx is een Nederlandse deathmetal-band. De groep wordt in 1987 opgericht en de bezetting is dan: TONY BROOKHUIS: gitaar BOB BAGCHUS: drums Tot de groep in 1991 debuteert vinden een aantal veranderingen plaats: Theo Loomans wordt toegevoegd als bassist. Maar hij verlaat samen met Brookhuis de band. Eric Daniels wordt dan de gitarist en Martin van Drunen (ex-Pestilence) de nieuwe drummer(?). Na het uiteenvallen van de groep vinden we Bob Bagchus en Eric Daniels in 1998 terug bij de deathmetal-formatie Soulburn.
