biografische gegevens van pigmeat PIGMEAT is een Fries folkduo, dat in 1989 debuteert. De groep is voortgekomen uit de punkpop-groep KOBUS GAAT NAAR APPELSCHA en bestaat uit: JANKOBUS SEUNNENGA SYTSE HAIMA De muziek is het best te omschrijven als een vorm van folkabilly die naar bluegrass neigt. In 1994 verschijnt "Ditties from Granny's Days": wijsje uit groetmoeders tijd. Seunnenga en Haima hebben samen ook nog een CD opgenomen onder de naam FAM.
