biografische gegevens van danny thompson
Danny Thompson is een (akoestisch) bassist uit
Engeland, die zijn carrière bij Alexis Korner
begint. In 1967 is hij bij de oprichting van
Pentangle en hij blijft daar tot de groep in
1973 uit elkaar valt.
Vanaf 1971 is Danny Thompson te horen op de lp's
van John Martyn. Hij doet ook nog even mee als
Pentangle in 1984 wordt heropgericht. Op één lp
is hij nog te horen. Daarna wijdt hij zich aan
zijn solocarrière.
In 1997 maakt Danny samen met Richard Thompson
het album "Industry".
